“You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.” – Maya Angelou
I am a heart-centered clinician who believes the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for any work I practice – this means that everything we do is centered around your needs, your dreams, and your progress.
It is from this foundation that I am to guide you in finding your balance and connecting to your own inner strengths. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults in a warm, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment where you can grow, learn, and thrive.
I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults through all of life’s challenges incorporating different treatment modalities to best cater to your individual needs. I also work closely with families in guiding parents and guardians on how to build a healthy family system. If you’re struggling with how best to help your child or your family, please reach out for help.
Children often need help in learning how to manage behavior and emotions as they move through challenging transitions. Children and parents can learn healthy coping strategies to help navigate these and other challenges. In addition to the therapy I provide, I lead parent/guardian support groups, psychoeducation groups, and multifamily education groups and sessions.
The health of your family deeply affects every member of your family unit. If one of you is struggling, you will all feel it. In therapy, you will develop strategies that work best for your family and work toward developing a healthy system that all members of your family can thrive in.
My treatment approach is always tailored to your individual needs, situation, and history. In therapy, we can heal past pain, foster new growth, and embrace your own strengths.
